Invisalign

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is the invisible and comfortable way to straighten your teeth without using unsightly wires and braces. This state-of-the-art system uses three dimensional computer imaging technology to fabricate a series of clear invisible plastic aligners
and is considered an excellent substitute for conventional braces. We use a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. No one would know you are wearing these aligners as they are virtually invisible.
Additionally, you can eat food without discomfort and you will be able to maintain better home care because the aligners are removed during eating and while cleaning your teeth. The Invisalign® process has been proven effective in clinical research and in orthodontic practices nationwide.

How does Invisalign Work?

You wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.
As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position.
You'll visit us frequently to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Total treatment time averages 11 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

The advantages of Invisalign:
It’s removable for good hygiene – You can brush and floss normally, which can
help prevent tooth decay and gum disease. Cleanings are quicker and easier than with traditional orthodontics. There are no brackets or wires to clean around.

You can eat when you want – The aligners are removable and should be removed when you eat. Therefore you can eat anything and anytime.

Straighter teeth can lead to healthier gums – Properly positioned teeth are easier to brush and floss than the teeth that are crowded, crooked or spaced too far apart. Properly positioned teeth promote periodontal health.
